Warm colors as blue, grey, beige and brown are stars and fit any style and furnishing. Who is really brave can choose a vivid yellow or green, neon pink or different patterns, even a structured wool. If this wool is to be used in your furnishing, be careful because the rule is always the same: don’t exaggerate!
 
Feel good
Those drink warmers with pom-pom for teapots are useful and nice at the same time. If you don’t want to make a new one, you can use an old wool hut. To let handle and spout be inserted, make two cuts and sew at their extremities using wool. Let this sew clearly visible, it will be a decoration. If you want to realize a new hut, you can finish it with a pom-pom.
 
A funny pouf
Old leather pouf are out of fashion nowadays. What is trendy is a pouf with a “coat” made of rough wool. It fits both the minimal design and the country style without problems. If you don’t use it as a seat, you can use it as a support for your magazines or a tray.
 
Warm feet
Who doesn’t like bare vases or normal ones, can make them a winter cloth. In this case it’s better tape wool or remainder of wool. To use something old, you can take your used legwarmers that are elastic and can even fit squared vases. The same is also possible for cans, pen holders and any vase you want to cover. You can cover your pens as well and decorate any little thing as you want to give it a winter look.
 
Let’s tidy up
If we have remainder of wool, we can use it to create baskets working with circular knitting needles. To make your knitted basket hard, cover a balloon with your basket. It has to be big the 2/3 of the whole cavity. Spread starch on the top of the basket and let it dry to fix. Sting the balloon when the basket is completely dry and hard. You will have a perfect rounded basket! You can add decoration as flowers or little shapes made of felt.
 
Warm under feet
You can make a little carpet using big knitting needles. Use fulled wool. Be generous with the size of your carpet because wool usually shrinks when washed.
 
Comfortable seats
You don’t always have to use wool to knit. You can also use fabric to create little table sets, cover for your chairs or cushions.
 
Patchwork
Who doesn’t know it? You can find any kind of remainder in the basket where you keep your wool. So let’s make as our grandmother used to do! We can make many different little squares in the same size. Fix them together with a crochet and let’s finish the extremities knitting for one cm. to get a nice hem. What is better than a cushion made of wool?
Choose the wool according to your furnishing. If you use one color you can knit something more complicate like twist or other patterns. If the wool is already structured, I mean it has its own effect, it’s better to knit simply. Make two pieces of the same size and sew them without forgetting a zip!
