Wool and garden parties. What do they do together?

As usual…. to see better “click” on the photos!

Who likes knitting has surely some wool at home and who doesn’t knit can buy wool with few money.
A wool garland for your garden party? It’s very easy!

Material
Cardboard
Scissors
Wool in different colors

Instructions
Cut a piece of cardboard 10 cm long and 3 cm large. Roll the wool around the cardboard along its length side. Do it many times to get a little bundle . Then remove it carefully from the cardboard and cut it.

With another wire of wool of the same color fasten your little bundle in the middle, letting the laces long. You will use them to hang your decoration (I like calling it “spinning top”), which is right a curtain tassel.

Fold your little bundle in the middle and fasten it more times where it’s folded using another piece of wool.
To finish you have just to cut the far ends of your tassel.

If you want to create a garland you have to produce tassels enough to reach the length you wish. You can make it in the same color or using different wool colors.
This decoration is very nice for a wedding or for a baptism party as well.
