It’s the 12th edition of a market/exposition of quality floriculture. There is also an edition in autumn from 26th to 27th October 2013 with 150 floriculturists. If you visit this exposition, you will really find yourself in the English countryside. You will see a lot of people wearing gumboots (there is even somebody who spends the whole day in the water to show you that these gumboots are waterproof!), Barbour, hats and generally total casual/country clothes. The exposition is always very crowded and people are really interested in buying plants and flowers. The only ones that aren’t so happy are the colored roosters because they are sold as well! You can rent shopping baskets and someone uses them to transport his dog! Let’s have a walk watching my photos! The first edition of a similar exposition is going to take place in Cherasco in the garden of the castle on 17th May. It will be called “Market-Exposition of Flowers, Plants, Fruits and Vegetable Trees”. It will be smaller but everything has its own beginning. The only thing I can add it’s that the biggest market/exposition regarding gardens takes place in England and it’s the Flower Show in Chelsea. In 2013 this event is getting 100 years old (www.bbcgardenesworldlive.com). If you visit this exposition, you will really find yourself in the English countryside. You will see a lot of people wearing gumboots (there is even somebody who spends the whole day in the water to show you that these gumboots are waterproof!), Barbour, hats and generally total casual/country clothes. The exposition is always very crowded and people are really interested in buying plants and flowers. The only ones that aren’t so happy are the colored roosters because they are sold as well!
